Nursery Open Evening 21 October 2024 3:45pm

Please come along to our Nursery open evening on Monday 21 October 2024 at 3:45pm. 

We offer 15 hour morning sessions and 30 hour funding.

In Nursery we work as a foundation unit where we share our learning environment with Reception at the moment. 

We currently introduce a story book at the start of the week and link daily learning opportunities to the book. 

Every day we ensure that all children access Phonics, Literacy and Maths activities as well as having fun, flexible choices in areas such as: 

• Physical Development (activities such as stretching, exercises and curling our bodies in the shape of an animal - linked to the book of the week where appropriate). 
• Personal, Social and Emotional Development – Discussions on how the characters might feel 
• Expressive Arts and Understanding the World – Drawings, play dough, re-enacting the story, outdoor exploration.
