Mrs Wade has visited China to forge links with Daxingchang Primary School in Chongqing. The school has approximately 600 pupils. Each day for half an hour all pupils and staff take part in exercises in the school grounds. The children all learn English and traditional Chinese. They celebrate their culture by learning about traditional customs and crafts such as pebble painting and silk flower making. The school is about 1 hour's drive from the city of Chongqing and is surrounded by forests on 3 sides and the Yangtze river to the forefront.

The Headteacher is called Mr Hu and he visited our school last academic year.

During academic year 2014/15 Mr Whittaker visited China and visited our partner school.  Visitors from China came to our school in Summer term 2016.
